It is still common in most of the communities but some of the communities are especially notorious for this practice.

I would like to give an example. Funny but sad........last year one of our family friends were looking for a bride for their young, handsome engineer boy who is well settled in Canada. They belong to a specific community of India, in which dowry is even more vital than oxygen! But the parents of this boy were reluctant to take any dowry, as their son in law refused to take any while asking for their daughter's hand. So the parents were kind of thankful and hence they didn't want to take any dowry for their own son too.

Anyway, last week after a year the parents met us again. We asked for any progress about their son's wedding. Sadly they said, they are finding it very difficult to get a good bride for their son now. They said since they don't want any dowry, so the girl's family would suspect that there must be something wrong with the boy. On top of that some of the family 'friends' would brainwash the girl's father with words like “ You know, the boy is living alone in Canada....and they are not asking for any dowry.....There has to be something wrong with the boy. He must be in some bad company or he must be having some bad habits. Otherwise how is it possible that an engineer boy in our community is not asking for any dowry??”

Sad to say, but now they are not getting a bride because they don't want to take dowry!!

Better half gamers

I love video-games. I love games so much, that sometimes it can be labeled as an 'addiction' for me. That is why most of the time I avoid playing games, because I know once I am into it, then nothing could help me. :)

Anyway, recently I was little free from my mundane life and I started playing an on-line game on PS3. This game is called lost planet, which is kind of interactive war-game with other players who are on-line at the same time. This game is fast, hardcore and violent. The game also provides voice-chat facility with which players can speak to each other and discuss strategy.

To my surprise, when I started playing this game for the first time, I noticed that I am listening 'female' voices amongst rest of the other players.......What? How could a female be playing a hardcore fighting game like this? Games like these are meant for guys only, who seek adventure out of violence? Females are too genteel to play games like this? But gradually in next few days I noticed that females contribute a good chunk of these war-game players, and they enjoy violence and killing to the same extent the guys do. Surprisingly they are too good in these games. I have noticed female gamers are mostly from USA, UK and Japan. They are hardcore gamers as they experience immense pleasure whenever they defeat someone in the game. They discuss strategy and make many comments out of joy like “ I love kicking this guy's a**.......whoa, I just ripped his b**ty” :p

Later I did some research and found this jaw-dropping data that 40% gamers are women!! Please follow the link of entertainment software association survey data.

You can also download the 2008 survey result as .pdf file format from that page to have a better understanding of the data.

So here are some final conclusions.....

1.Everybody likes games. Gender has no role in that.
2.Only males don't have fancy for violence. Females too derive adrenalin out of that.
3.If you are a male and you think that you are a hardcore gamer and no one can defeat you......think again!! :)

Power of innocence

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 291px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_uWM1Qgb1MQw/SU6PpP_T7FI/AAAAAAAAEmY/V9D7Liv4cNs/s400/beagle-puppy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282317351781657682" />

This is winter. I see lots of stray puppies here and there. Today I went to see a movie, and I was deeply absorbed talking to my friends in the theater premises. Something touched my ankle and out of reflux I jumped and then tried to see what touched me? It was a small newborn puppy! So innocent and adorable was he, that all my anger and apprehension vanished in seconds. He was still moving around my legs and squeaking as if he doesn't fear me at all. All my emotions transformed into love and care for him and I simply hushed to keep him away.

I realized he was physically vulnerable. He can't protect himself, yet nothing harms him. This is sheer power of innocence.

Why nature created all the newborns so helpless, vulnerable and adorable? All the newborns stretched on this planet follow the same pattern. Isn't it interesting? Even if this has developed due to “Natural selection”, then what is the reason behind that? Does this give better protection to newborns? Why newborns are so helpless and dependent on others?

I am not reaching for any conclusion or giving any theory, all I know is that since that puppy was helpless and innocent, it gave him better chances to survive.

Paradoxically sometimes submission is the best defense :)

Sniffing glue

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 295px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_uWM1Qgb1MQw/SSE97hKHhpI/AAAAAAAADsg/5TsDY7y74is/s400/glue-sniffers.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5269561131722573458" />

We have shifted to a new house 6 months back. I was out of my home during this shifting process, and last month itself I came back to visit my home.

The new home is in a less populated area of my city, and in the backside of my house, there is a huge barren ground, eventually used for dumping garbage.

Yesterday evening I was at the rooftop of my house and looking towards the ground with no purpose. I saw a young boy of 5-6 year old, was picking polythene bags from garbage heaps. He was accompanied by another young girl who was around 4-5 year old, and she too was picking polythene bags. After 10 minutes the boy took a small dirty piece of cloth, and emptied a tube of a glue (perhaps quickfix/bonefix) on it. He smeared the glue well on the whole cloth, and then rubbed it vigorously. Then he folded the cloth in form of a small ball, put it on his open mouth, and started pulling hard. After some time, the young girl took the cloth-ball from his hand, and she too started pulling. At first I couldn't understand what was happening, then all of sudden I realized “Oh my God! They are sniffing glue!!”

I had read about glue sniffing before but it was the first time I was witnessing someone doing that. After I realized that those kids were sniffing glue, I was shocked and upset. Great turmoil started in my mind. I was socked because those kids were really very small. I was upset because it was the first time I saw someone doing that, and I didn't know what to do about that?

Later I talked to my mother about the incident. She told me that this is very common in this place. Many a times story about this published in local newspapers, but nothing done afterwards.

This is something very sad that children at this tender age are getting addicted to glue sniffing. They don't even know what they are doing and before they know something, it's too late for them........ Poverty is like black-hole. It brings lots of associated problems like this and it's really hard to break this cycle of poverty. I wish those children were not born in a poor family. I wish if they were going school instead of picking polythene bags from garbage...Lord! please help my country....Lord! please help these children!

Electronic ego

Gradually we are heading towards such an era, where people will entirely be depended on internet for their social life and communication. Hectic work, busy schedule, high goals, pressure for social status and money, all these factor will make a human to have less time to interact directly with friends and family, and so he will tend to use indirect electronic methods more for the purpose of communication.
We are almost there. Look closely around yourself. Family, friends and your loved ones are all living thousands miles apart. You are using e-mails, messengers and social networking sites like Orkut, Facebook, Hi5, Myspace and many like that, to be in touch with your family and friends. Now you even don't find time to 'chat' online, instead you prefer to leave offlines, scrap, or just write a short e-mail.
Problem arises, when you confuse these electronic mode of communications with real face to face interactions. Human face can express millions of emotions precisely, while an offline message can hardly evince any. We are gradually accepting a method of communication, where we are giving less acknowledgment to emotions. Unfortunately human ego couldn't adjust rapidly with the pace of growing technology, and hence sometimes it gets confused.
I am giving some examples. I have a good friend of mine, who of course lives thousands mile apart from the place where I live. Mostly I communicate with her by offline messages on messenger. I sent her few offlines. There was no reply. After few days, I left another batch of offlines, again no reply. Now the third time I sent few more offlines (expressing my resentment for this ignorance) and to my surprise, again no reply. Now my ego came into play. How dare she could ignore and insult me like this? As if I am very free, and she is busy like a president? Now onwards, I am not going to ask about her well being, until she first sends me mail or message. That's it!.......After few days, I was online on a messenger, and she too came online. I saw her, and purposefully ignored her, and didn't send any message first. She messaged me asking my well being, and also complaining why didn't I respond to her previous offlines?......What?? This was the question what I was supposed to ask, instead she is shooting it on me?? So we talked on the issue, and later we both figured out that somehow the offlines didn't deliver because of some internet problem. So the moral of this anecdote is, we should not rely too much on these electronic mediums. At least don't let your ego to generate on the soil of these electronic misunderstandings. I was at the verge of losing a good friend for nothing, so could any one.

But again, we can't avoid these technologies. It's kind of essential evil. What we can do is to avoid our emotions to take over the situation. Here are some suggestions:-

1. Messenger offlines are not perfect: From my experience, I can assert that messengers are not perfect. You certainly might miss offlines. What you can do is to increase your tolerance limit a bit higher. Where you feel that you should be mad after 3 incidents of ignorance, raise it to 10. Even after 10 ignorance, if someone doesn't respond to you, might be he/she is not able to check offlines. Give him a call instead.
2. Onlines are not always online: Sometimes we see that our friends are online, we send messages, and no response. It hurts a bit. We should remember that sometimes people are in such a situation, where they can't message. Probably they are in office or in some other work place. Sometimes we think that we have logged off, while actually we forget to do so. Again our friends can see us as online, while we are enjoying dinner with girlfriend. :)
3. Look carefully before deleting junk mails: Yes, it's true that sometimes your friend's mail can be shrunk amongst those 50 other Viagra selling, lottery winning, and perfect match finding e-mails. So before deleting them, please have a gander on heading, to check if any one of your friend's name is there. If you are deleting them blindly, then probably you are ending up having a friend who thinks that you are ignoring him.
4. Forwarding a mail doesn't cost you a penny: Sometimes there is one of your old school pal, who somehow doesn't mail you anymore. It's OK, he could be too busy in his life. Probably he wants to ignore you as well, but sending him a forwarded mail, with 25 other recipients doesn't hurt you much, right? So go ahead, and let him remember that there is one obstinate person in this world, who doesn't forget him under any circumstances. If he hates you, then these forwarded mails are perfect revenge too. ;)

Remember, technology can never replace human emotions. An 'emoticon' can show that you are smiling, but it can never show if your smile is about love, pain, sarcasm, bliss, satisfaction, pride, gratitude or million other reasons. Life is a beautiful journey, and friends are excellent companions.......Don't let them lose because of filthy ego. :)

Chand Baori

This is Chand Baori, a step well situated in Abhaneri, near Jaipur, India. You name any product, from buttons to 72” LCD Television, everything was made in China....Bicycle, pen, candles, clothes, CDs, dolls and whatever you can imagine, all made in China....Oh my God, this Play Station 3, a sophisticated and expensive machine.........What? This too made in China?.............To my greatest surprise, I bought a small statue of Lord Ganesha from home improvement section, which was all perfect in face, shape, size, fine detailing on 'Laddu' and the 'Mouse', even the left tusk was half 'broken'........That has to be made in India, there is no way one could match this perfection other than an Indian..........I can bet 100$ bill, that it is made in India.........Let's see?........I looked at the bottom of the statue and I was almost dead for what I saw...................Made in China!!!

How, why and when did this happen?? What is it with China, that others can't match? Why these products were not made in USA, Canada, England, Germany, Australia or India?? What is so special about China?? If it is price, why can't we Indians match that? If it is quality, why can't these developed nations beat that??

USA is a consumer's market........People love to buy buy and more buy....They love to buy so much, that their garage is full of their stuffs.........Now even a new trend has begun, they are renting spaces to store their goods. In a consumer's market like this, the giant companies like Walmart, Costco, Bestbuy, Target, K-mart........and many more, they all want to cater their customers. They must deliver cheap, they must deliver quality.....How could they accomplish these tough challenges? No way this could be done in USA. Here even a floor cleaner would charge more than 2000$ per month, which makes it impossible for them to cut the prices. So they started looking towards China, and China successfully delivered what they were looking for.

I am an Indian, and fortunately this ravenous trend of looking for cheap products couldn't succeed in my country. Few years back, there was flood of Chinese products in India too........bicycle, crackers, plastic goods and things like that........Some how (and for which I feel proud upon India and Indians), we don't want cheap products. These Chinese markets were a big fiasco in India. Whenever a consumer learns that this product is made in China, he prefers to dump it. India is a developing country, where people always want to buy things which could cost less, but still this “made in China virus” was not successful in India.

Thankfully in India we don't see made in China goods more often than USA. But now the next level question, why we Indians can't make products better and cheaper than China? When I wander in some USA market, why don't I see made in India goods?? Where we are lagging? This question is really grave, when I consider my nation's economy. We must find a solution for this. We got everything, resources, good technology, skilled workers, business education, and strong economy. We need to find a way to beat this market. We need to 'work' upon this challenge, where China is capturing all the developed nations market. I am sure, that if we work upon this issue, then we can beat this. All what is required, is some planing and reforms in business sector. And I am cocksure, we Indians are going to do that in near future.

Hypothetical Epilogue: I am walking in a supermarket in Beijing. Thought let's buy some instant noodles for tomorrow's breakfast. I pay in the cash counter, and without any intention, had a gander on the back side of the pack...It made me happy and my noodle even more tastier......it was written “Made in India” :)

Raj thackeray: A Hero

Mrs. Jaya Bacchan wrongly said, “ I don't know who is Raj Thackeray? “ Now everybody can agree upon one issue is that Mr. Raj Thackeray is not 'unknown' at least. Some might label it as 'notorious' and not 'famous', still now he is not 'unknown'.

It is a different issue that how he became 'known' to all. So what if he addresses North-Indians as foreigners? So what if his men brutally beaten up innocent people from North-India and forced them and their families to move out of the divine land Maharashtra? After all they were illegal Indian immigrants, and they didn't have visa/stay-permit to stay in his 'country', Maharashtra?? So what if he became a little ungrateful to those people, who contributed a great deal in Maharashtra's economy? So what if he forgets the fundamental rights of Indian citizens? We too don't remember everything that we read in our childhood??! So what if he forgets that Maharashtra is somewhere within India, and integrity is our pride. After all everybody doesn't have strong geography? So what if he urges North Indians to quit Maharashtra, but on same moral grounds forgets to call back all the Marathi speaking people from rest of the country? A little bit of memory lapse is acceptable everywhere, isn't it?

Look at the rest of the countrymen, who are living with each other peacefully. What a mob of fools! Look at 'Kolkata', where North Indians are more abundant than natives, and still they are living with harmony without any hush. These kolkata natives are bunch of morons, that's why this idea of bigotry didn't strike into their mind! The same is with rest of the country. It is Mr. Raj Thackeray's prudent futuristic vision, that he first implemented this outstanding concept.

Recently some actors from Bollywood also joined Mr. Raj Thackeray's camp. Say for example the great actor Mr. Nana Patekar. He says that Marathi is his pride, and Maharashtra is for Marathi speaking natives. I guess he forgot, that whatever name and bread n butter he has today, is because of 'Hindi' cinena and not 'Marathi'. Whatever you say, he is patriot though. During 'Kargil' war, he took his gun and jumped into border to quench his thirst of lunacy. That's a different issue, that some 50 soldiers were appointed to protect him, as he is a celebrity. I guess those bodyguard soldiers were not from some “Maharashtra regiment”.

Doesn't matter whatever the world says to Mr. Raj Thackeray for his heinous and inhuman deeds, he really did some heroic job. Who has courage to welcome all the slandering remarks from world, just to become 'known'? Who has courage to accept himself called as traitor of the country, a demon, a shame, an inhuman devil and things like that? He is bearing so much burden just for the price of few votes, isn't it bravery? Isn't it heroic?........Yes, Mr. Raj Thackeray, you are indeed a hero.

Sponsored Spirituality

I have a friend of mine who used to study in my collage and was one year senior to me. Before he used to be very arrogant, selfish, aloof, short tempered, and name any vices and you could find in him.

During his final years in collage, because of some personal reasons, he came across a ‘Baba’, and then there was magical change in his entire personality. Now he was soft spoken, caring, loving, talking to everyone, respecting others and things like that. The person, who used to open his eyes at 12 O’clock afternoon, now wakes up 4 O’clock morning!! I have never seen such dramatic personality change in any person till date.

So far so good. This guy is now traveling India, spreading message of love and peace. He is spreading his Guru’s divine message to all the human being he come across. To be honest, I really appreciate these changes of him, but sometimes few points really itch into my brain and I am forced to think upon them.

This guy’s father is a Doc, and I think he is very rich. For his living and traveling, I don’t think that he is spending from his pocket, because he simply doesn't do anything to earn money. Either his father must be giving him financial support, or his ashram cult must be bearing his charges. Whatever it is, the bottom line is that he is not doing anything to sustain his life. What if his father stops supporting him? What if his ashram closes, and then they stop bearing his expenses? Will he still be able to spread the message of love and peace, travel here and there and not earning any money??

To be practical, it is not possible. I don’t predict that there would be any reversal behavioral changes in him because of this, but at least he won’t be able to travel idly on other’s expenses! He would have to spend a great amount of his time for earning money. And even after that if he can save time and energy to spread the message of love and peace, then I must bow to him.

I really don’t have any problem with why he doesn’t do anything and traveling. There are many people in this world, who don’t do anything at all. I just wonder, those who are really very poor, orphans, small kids begging in railway platforms, stealing trinkets, doing boot polish to earn a piece of bread, had they been given a chance like this, couldn’t they become a spiritual prophet?? Then why don’t these kids become spirituals by simply joining a cult or society?? …………………………….Isn’t it because there is no one to ‘sponsor’ their spirituality??!

To conclude, those who belong to some cult or ashram, they are really doing noble work. Spreading message of peace and serving people. It is appreciated. But they will be respected even more if they don’t depend upon donations of devotees, and start earning their own bread. A real spiritual is the one who lives in the real world, and remembers the divine lord even for once, not the one who lives upon others bread and chanting the name of lord million times a day………!

Language

"Women speak two languages - Let me explain. Let’s take a 1 gm tumor. First division- 2 gm, Second- 4 gm, Third- 8 gm, Fourth- 16 gm, Fifth- 32 gm, Sixth- 64 gm, Seventh- 128 gm, Eighth- 225 gm( aprx), Ninth- 500gm and Tenth- 1 Kg!
This is called exponential growth mathematics, where things grow exponentially in successive divisions or time intervals. After reading this, my brain took a break, and started wandering in my philosophy land. I realized that this exponential growth mathematics is really a very important and core key to success. I saw some associations between this mathematical law, and real life incidents. Let me explain this-

1:- BEGINNING IS NOT ALWAYS DRAMATIC:- As you can see from the cell division example above, in the initial part of cell divisions, the results were not so dramatic. Even after Sixth or Seventh division, we had only around 100 gm……What happens if we add only 3 or 4 more divisions? Answer is “Mega changes”!
In the same way we keep working for success. We work hard, we work long,….still we don’t seem to see a dramatic result. Sometimes after working long enough, when we don’t see any dramatic changes, we think to give up, but hey, stop! Don’t quit!.....Could be we are only a few steps away from the “Mega change”.

2:- A LITTLE CHANGE IN THE BEGINNING, MAKES HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE END:- What if we had taken 2 gm instead of 1 gm in the beginning?? In the beginning it doesn’t seem significant enough. One might think, what difference an extra gm can make? But if you see the end result, we would have 2 Kg, instead of 1 Kg. Isn’t it a huge difference? Can you realize what adding only 1 gm in the beginning does at the end of the result?
Now in the same way, sometimes we are reluctant to add some extra grams in the beginning of our life. We try to procrastinate things. While reading, we think that ok, this is only one chapter, what difference it would make if I read it now, or tomorrow?? Indeed it doesn’t seem to make any difference in the ‘beginning’ of career. But it is possible that reading that one extra chapter in the beginning might reward us 1 extra million at the end of our career??

Success does ‘grow’, whether or not strictly following the law of exponential growth, but I am for sure that it does grow. Even if in some extent, it does follow the law of exponential growth, and by understanding this law, and implementing changes at this point of our life, I am for sure that we can make huge differences in the end.

Know all.

Every woman knows all about everything.

*Rudyard Kipling

Improvement.

Experience teaches that men are often so much governed by what they are accustomed to see and practice, that the simplest and most obvious improvements, in the most ordinary occupations, are adopted with hesitation, reluctance, and by slow gradations. Actually what I just said, is 100% truth. How come?

Credit goes to Discovery channel. I was watching a program on Discovery channel. It was on “Big-Bang”. It was told in the program that whatever today exists in this universe, they all came from only one single source, that is “Big-Bang”. Just after few seconds of the ‘Bang’, most of the light elements were formed. It took some time to form heavy radioactive elements, but yes, MOST of the elements were formed just few seconds after the ‘Bang’……..Only this much information was given in the program, rest of what I am going to utter, is my objective interpretations. After watching this program, the subject kept churning into my brain, and I concluded with some wild thoughts. Could be I am wrong, but presently I don’t see any logical reason why I should be wrong??

1. 1:- YOU WANT OT SEE SOMETHING REALLY OLD? TOUCH YOURSELF: It has been told that most of the elements formed just after the bang. After that no/little changes occurred in lighter elements. We are made of atoms like C4, H2, O2, and N2……..So whatever atoms are there in our body, they all are almost as old as “Big-Bang”. Heavy elements like radio active elements decay with time though, but they are not one of those stable elements, which are formed at the beginning of the universe.

2. 2:- WANT TO TOUCH DINOSAUR? AGAIN TOUCH YOURSELF: Living organisms die, elements don’t! If the atoms that are in my body are old enough to be from Big-Bang time, it is very much possible that out of trillion atoms in my body, at least one was recycled from a Dinosaur’s body? God knows for how many times, and from what organisms the atoms were recycled?? Touch yourself, and feel that you are REALLY touching something that was once probably a part of some Dinosaur, Mammoth, or a Roman legion!

3. 3:-WANT TO TRAVEL THE FARTHEST STAR? FEEL IT! : It is well known that gravitational force is an attraction force between two particles. As the distance increases between two objects, the gravitational force decrease, but it never becomes zero!! It can decrease to the extent of 10-∞ (infinitive), but it can NEVER be zero. So remember, even the farthest star has a bond with you, its pulling you and so you are pulling the star. All the objects in this universe are bound to you. In fact all the objects in this universe are bound to each other like a cobweb. You are part of the whole universe, and the whole universe is you.

I guess, truth is always around us, like cell phone signals…..we only need device to catch them………… So finally do you still think it is bombastic, if I say “I am universe”? :)

Is destiny really in our control?

There are two schools of thoughts that exist in our society. One school believes that 'Karma' is everything. If you do your 'Karma', then you can change your destiny. There is another school of thought that says that 'Destiny' is everything. We are not choosers for what we can do or can become. Destiny decides that, and we have no say in it.
I don't want to support or oppose any of these schools of thoughts. I am writing this blog for my curiosity about destiny. Is destiny really in our control? Some might say yes, karma controls our destiny, and if we do our karma, then we can change our destiny!.......So far so good, I was just curious what force gives us 'inspiration' to do karma? Is that inspiration itself not chosen by destiny?
For example, I see a lad in a family (Lets name him XX), who is extraordinarily hard working and intelligent. Because of his hard work, he bangs to good schools, and makes a good career and he is very successful. He has some siblings in his family who are not hard working and they are not successful either. What made XX successful?? Those who believe in karma would say that, it is his hard work that brought him success. I was curious, why only XX in that family chosen to go for hard work? Why only he believed that hard work is key to success? Why didn't his siblings choose to go for hard work? It is impossible that nobody tried to inspire or teach the importance of hard work to XX's siblings, then why still they couldn't motivate themselves? If inspiration for hard work could be generated by external stimulations, then why sometimes we fail to motivate others? (And ourselves too!!)
Is it XX's genetic pattern that "made him" to think in a way, that he preferred to go for hard work rather than sitting idle? If it is so, then acquiring genetic traits is again not in our hand. We can't choose to get what genetic trait we want. Is it some emotional force or shock that driven him to go for hard work? Then why only XX had that experience? Why not the siblings? And if siblings too had the same emotional experience, then why only XX was motivated by that? Ultimately if you reach for the root of all the actions and phenomenons, you will find that it is destiny which controls everything!
I read about the famous debate between Einstein and Bohr. Einstein said "God does not play dice".........Bohr replied " Einstein, stop telling God what to do with his dice"!....... To conclude, if you have 'consciousness' about rights and wrongs, then consider yourself blessed that you are chosen by destiny to 'think' in that way. So, If you already 'realize' that working hard is good, then do work hard, because some people are not even chosen, by destiny to 'realize' this fact!!

Why I am asking this?? Well it’s not my fault, actually scientist are debating on this issue for decades. Some schools say that it is ‘solid’, while there is another significant large group, which says that it is ‘liquid’!

As far as it is concerned with ‘solid’ theory, we all can say that glass is solid, because it appears to be solid at room temperature. Let’s focus on the arguments and facts, what is said in favor of liquid theory. They say glass is never ‘solid’; rather it is ‘undercooled’ liquid! In solids such as iron, steel, and aluminum, the atoms are arranged very orderly, in a repeating pattern, like tiles on a bathroom wall. Because of the random atomic structure of glass, physicists tent to think of glass as a liquid which is supercooled. Metals and other materials, say ice are solid up to their melting point, where they suddenly turn into liquid. But glass is different. When you heat glass, there is never a sudden transition from solid to liquid. Rather, glass becomes gradually more deformable.

But if glass tends to have properties of ‘liquid’, then at least it should evince some of them?? Well, they claim, they can be seen, but we need to change the circumstances a bit to visualize the liquid properties of glass. Say, if glass is really liquid, then it should ‘flow’ like a liquid? The answer is, it really DOES flow! For example, if a window glass is kept vertical for a long time say for years, and we have sensitive measuring instruments, then we can really measure that the thickness of glass at the bottom is more than the top.

Some schools, who don’t believe in this theory, say that though glass molecules are not arranged in perfect order, but they can precipitate into crystals anytime if given a favorable condition say low temperature and pressure. It also depends on the facts that how rapidly a glass is cooled after it is heated. If a glass is cooled very slowly, then it will tend to form a crystal, and not a supercooled solid. They give many other arguments in support of its solid property with order of transition, viscosity and poises.

Whatever, but it is for sure, that none of the theories are 100% evident. So there is a fare good chance, that glass is actually a ‘liquid’!

Honesty.

All men profess honesty as long as they can. I knew it takes some time to update that blog in Yahoo.360 page, but despite I waited for 2 days, it was not updated. Ultimately I had to reconfigure my url address in Feed setup at Yahoo.360 page.
There is one more problem with Yahoo.360, they don't seem to have any clock!.......lol.......Yeah, whatever feed is updated in Yahoo.360 page, it comes with an arbitrarily chosen date. For example, I started creating blogs in Blogger for last 2 weeks, but they show the updating date as January!
This problem persist for some other sections as well. The comments that we post in Yahoo.360, even they are showing arbitrarily chosen dates.

Lucid Dreams!

Lucid dreaming is the state of being aware that you are dreaming. This allows you to take charge and control your dreams in productive ways. Lucid dreaming can be used as a tool for problem solving and personal growth. Lucid dreamers (sometimes called "oneironauts") regularly describe their dreams as being exciting, uplifting and highly rewarding.

Humans spend about a third of their lives asleep. Some lucid dreamers argue that sleeping through dreams is not a productive use of one's lifespan. With consistent practice, people can learn to become lucid pretty much whenever they want and recapture some of this lost time. Lucid dreaming is not easy; it requires a lot of practice and training.

What to speak?

For humans, it takes 2 years to learn 'how' to speak, yet the whole life may fall short to learn 'what' to speak!

I have done few modifications in my RSS

I have done few modifications in my RSS.
